At Merenda Foods, we develop custom-made solutions that are perfectly tailored to our target audience, from babies and toddlers to preschoolers, children, and adults. Quality and food safety are our top priorities every day. As a Quality Intern, you’ll support the Quality, Sustainability & Safety department with various tasks on the production floor. You’ll gain a solid understanding of quality control within a professional food environment and have the opportunity to actively participate in daily inspections and improvement initiatives.

What does the position entail?

  • Assist with quality control checks on raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
  • Assist with conducting and documenting quality and hygiene checks on the production floor.
  • Learn about food safety systems such as HACCP and BRC and how to apply them in practice.
  • Assist in handling discrepancies and complaints, and in improving quality processes.
  • Developing and maintaining a sampling plan
  • Implementing various quality projects
