To expand our Operations team, we are looking for a Shift Leader to work with colleagues to ensure productivity and quality within production. What does the position entail?

  • You will manage, coach and motivate colleagues in the Operations team.
  • You will work on efficient work distribution within the Operations team.
  • You ensure a smooth handover at the end of the shift.
  • You resolve any malfunctions
  • You initiate and coordinate improvement processes relating to productivity, quality and (food) safety.
  • You coordinate the availability of raw materials on the shop floor with the Logistics team.
  • You feel and take responsibility for (food) safety and quality.
  • You participate in the (weekly) Shift Leaders meeting.
  • You report (daily) to the Operations Manager.

What are we asking for?

  • You have at least intermediate vocational education (MBO) working and thinking level (possession of a VAPRO diploma, or equivalent, is an advantage).
  • You have technical knowledge, insight and skills
    Accuracy, order and tidiness come naturally to you
  • You have a proactive attitude and work independently to solve problems.
  • You are familiar with HACCP requirements.
  • You work in a three-shift system.
  • Good command of Dutch and you can make yourself understood in English
